Martyn is a Senior Facilities Manager with a strong grounding in hard and soft building services and a focus on customer service and improving the way buildings operate. His approach draws on the teamwork and discipline he developed in the Royal Australian Air Force and his customer service experience at Optus.

He has managed A- to C-grade commercial properties, from new developments to heritage buildings. He has also led and mentored a team of nine facilities managers responsible for 40 properties.

At Mercer Property, Martyn oversees day-to-day building operations, including tenant liaison, fit-outs, subcontractor coordination, repairs and maintenance. He develops and manages budgets and cares about both the buildings he looks after and the people connected to them. As the owner’s eyes and ears on the ground, he keeps owners informed, works closely with contractors and makes sure tenants receive attentive service.
