Tom is a Founding Director of Mercer Property and one of Sydney’s most experienced sales and leasing advisers, with more than 20 years’ experience in commercial agency and new development across the CBD and city fringe. His track record includes the $92.75 million sale of 19A Boundary Street, Darlinghurst.

Property runs in the family. Tom is the third generation of his family to work in real estate, and his great-grandfather established an Adelaide agency that still operates today. Tom began his Sydney career in 2006, became a partner at Gunning Real Estate in 2010 and co-founded Mercer Property with Matt Davoren in 2019.

A determined negotiator, Tom gives clients clear advice and shapes each campaign around their timeframe. He has led major sales and leasing projects from planning and design through to delivery, working alongside architects, developers and marketing teams. His work spans offices, heritage sites, retail properties, warehouse conversions and design-led mixed-use developments across Redfern, Surry Hills, Darlinghurst and the eastern suburbs.
